The news we all been waiting for is finally here!
It has just been announced by SM Entertainment that plans for their super group, Super Junior are in the works for a comeback album targeted by the end of the second quarter of this year. This has further been confirmed by Leeteuk when asked by his co-host during the 6th Gaon Chart Music Awards. MAMAMOO’s Solar, asked on stage regarding Super Junior’s activities, where Leeteuk responded by confirming the groups plans for a comeback album as well as stating that they are in the midst of putting the songs together.
Not much information has been revealed about the album, but its long anticipated release this year will be its first album release in 2 years since 2015’s “Magic”(2 years 2 many if you ask me or any Super fans). The long absence in the group’s activities has been largely due to military duties which had caused many absentees throughout the 2 years. Many of the boys have been discharged military and few will be discharged mid-year, with the exception of Ryeowook who’s military duties remains until 2018, making him likely to be absent from this year’s comeback.
